The most books can be downloaded directly from the Online inventory of the holdings of the State Archives of Canton Bern

At the indicated price there is still postage and packaging taxes of CHF 5.-- and foreign countries CHF 8.--

These USB-Sticks can be ordered directly from Fritz Bieri, CH-3645 Gwatt

Alternatively, there is also a download of the data directly from a cloud storage without postage.

Important!

Part of the church records contain information about the date of the introduction of the civil registers in 1875. For reasons of data protection, such entries may only be published until the expiry of the following periods:

Baptisms: 110 years ago, that is for this year (2023) until 1913.

Confirmations and marriages: 100 years ago, that is for this year (2023) until 1923.
